Wisconsin Hurts Bad

This is not Stanley Douglas writing here. It’s me, P.S. Mueller, intruding on an otherwise perfectly enjoyable website to let you know that we here at HowdyLand.com are otherwise occupied with the fight to sustain workers’ rights in our beloved state. My collaborator Steve Gotcher and I are very serious about this, as much as we are often unserious about most other things. My purpose here is not to take up your valuable entertainment time with a polemic about unions and deficits and such. Instead, I merely want to explain how we feel about human rights: They should only ever be expanded and never withdrawn, which is why we stand with all state and municipal workers in Wisconsin and wherever else the unionization of state employees is still permitted.

The criminal vote to eliminate collective bargaining this evening at the State Capitol here in Madison epitomized the the disgraceful intent of our governor and his utter contempt for the rule of law and the people of Wisconsin, and we here at HowdyLand LLC and News From The Great Re-Depression would very much like our governor to go fuck himself.

If the middle-class voters of Wisconsin and every other state get out to the polls, we may be able to at least throw the bastards out of office next time around.
